• We would like the programme to fit in with the documentary style of ‘Bang Goes the Theory’ on BBC1, with the analytical yet enjoyable process.

• The order of information, analysis and then example in the above scene works in a way maintaining the audiences focus. This is something we feel we could use as a basis.

• Firstly, those of a scientific interest, due to the analytical behaviour of crowds. (What affects mob/crowd behaviour, targeting adults/teens interested in behavioural effects).

• Secondly, sports fans.The basis of our documentary is that of football fans and the variety of their behaviour, ranging from the average fan to a hooligan.

• For the two page spread we intend to do an interview with the presenter about the documentary talking retrospectively about experience gained.

• The newspaper advert would be between the presenter in alone in a related scene/pose (see Michael Moore right), or a crowd of people walking towards one person.

Policeman – Personal experience of arrests due to football crowd trouble.

Psychologists – Facts and Theories about how people change when in a crowd, whilst under the influence of alcohol etc.

Football Fans – Opinions of why they go to football, amounts of money spent and satisfaction they receive.

• Next, Discuss the ever expanding culture surrounding football and stereotypical actions fans engage in.

• Next we will bring in professional opinion, an opinion from a Police Officer who has observed this behaviour.

• A run down of relevant statistics and facts to help educate the audience to the passionate nature of football fans.

• Look at crowds in general and famous example; Maggie Thatcher Poll Riot.

• A psychologist would analyse this example, and perhaps relate to modern day.
