Contact sheets for CD digipak and advert image manipulationWhen designing my digipak and advertisement image that would feature on my advertisement poster, I used the software of Adobe Photoshop so that I was able to access a wide range of effects to make my digipak and advert have synergy with my music video. I also used the effects to make a more professional looking product.

Here, I have used a colour overlay in order to give my digipak and advert poster a blue tint, this was

because my music video featured the blue tint effect over all the clips and so I was able to create a dream like hazy atmosphere over my digipak and poster and a synergy between my music video and my digipak and poster. I also used the opacity tool to filter the colour overlay over each image and

so I was able to design the music video with the correct opacity so that the text and image was still easily seen.

I tampered with the opacity when I was creating my digipak and advertisement poster in order to decide what level of opacity looked the best and the one that you could read the text and still see the images on.

Also when designing my digipak, I first of all opened the chosen images in a separate photoshop document

and was able to select different images to use to feature in my music video. I was also able to use the effect of sharpening when I was editing one of my final digipak images. This sharpening effect

allowed me to make my images look more professionally taken and therefore look like a more

sophisticated product.
