The topic about clothes and costumes is really important nowadays, because is interesting that you know about what you are wearing in this moment. Where it is from and which are the different styles to dress in different parts of the world. So, when early people realized they needed more than their own hair and skin to protect them from the weather, they looked around to see what was available. People lived in a cold climate, saw animals with skins that kept them warm. They hunted these animals for food and used the fur to cover their bodies, in the same way, in hot climates, clothing provides protection from sunburn or wind damage, and provides protection from harmful UV radiation.

THE INUIT PEOPLE

As an example of costume we have the INUIT PEOPLE from the Artic, they often wear traditional clothes made from fur, sealskin that is the skin of a seal or a sea dog and also caribou hide that is the skin of a reindeer

As a conclusion in many societies, norms about clothing reflect standards of modesty, religion, gender, and social status. Clothing may also function as a form of adornment and an expression of personal taste or style

Page 22: Clothes and Costumes

Finally, nowadays clothes are made from different materials such as wool, natural fibers, silk or cotton and many others but it is not easy to know where people come from by the clothes they wear because as I told you in general nowadays people only use a t-shit with a blue jean.
