Attendance•Important to establish good attendance habits:1. Punctuality- school starts at 9 be on

time!2. Notes required after all absences3. Phone call re: long absences, running

late

• National Education Welfare Board: 1. 10 and 20 day absences2. Holidays

be made through the office.

•1:1 Parent/Teacher meetings in November & June

followed by a written report.

Homework10-12 mins of homework each night is a

guideline for Junior infants.

• Children will get a folder with the following:1. Phonics copy

2. Handwriting copy3. Maths book

4. Reading book5. Dolch wordsheet

Children must bring their homework folder to school each day. It will be corrected on Friday.
