Who has to take the test? if you are applying for naturalisation as a
British citizen if you are applying for indefinite leave to
remain if your level of English is above Entry level.BUTif your English is Entry level 3 or below: take
the Citizenship through ESOL route.

What is this?Post-16 Citizenship gives young people the
knowledge, skills and understanding to play an effective role in society at local, national and international levels

POST-16 CITIZENSHIP
this is compulsory for ALL 16-18 year olds
