Christmas EveDecember 24Christmas is the day, where is the

whole family together.On Christmas day we watch tales.At six o'clock we start having

dinner.After dinner we go to the tree

where opening presents.

Who brings presents?

In the Czech Republic baby Jesus brings presents.

Almost every child writes a letter to baby Jesus in order to let him know, what the child would like to find under the Christmas tree.

Christmas dinner

In the Czech Republic fish soup and carp with potato salad, or pork and chicken schnitzel with potato salad is served for dinner. We also eat Christmas cookies.

Christmas Traditions

When having dinner, the whole family must be at the table.

Throughout the day we listen to carols.

No one should leave the table, while some still eat.

We decorate the Christmas tree

By the Christmas tree, each member of the family sings a Christmas carol.
