Step 1 – Self Assessment and Goal Setting

Use the online Competency Assessment Tool to know

your current strengths and development opportunities

based on the GCM

Complete a goal setting considering what you want to do, where do you want to go,

what do you want to learn and what impact you want to

create

Communicate these personal needs and wants to your

VPTM

Step 2 – Participate in LC activities and keep your eyes open for different opportunities to challenge

yourself

Take on different positions in the LC

Go on exchange and learn from different countries and cultures

Step 3 – Track and Reflect on Your Progress

Re-assess yourself using the Competency Assessment Tool and invite your team mates to assess your progress as well

Reflect on your goals and consider if these are still valid

and what else you need in order to reach them

Talk with your team leader or mentor about what you have developed and what you still

want to develop

Remember, at the end of the day it is up to YOU to decide what opportunities and experiences you want.

YOU need to be open to taking the risk and stepping out of YOUR comfort zone.

YOU decide what kind of change agent YOU are going to be.
