Character Education Through Moral Stories

Character EducationCharacter Education is not popular among teens.

Teens are in look of freedom.

Teens are incapable of sorting high moral values for themselves.

Personal sorting out of values leaves them with less moral ethics.

Character Education VS. Personal Values

People weaken the definition of honesty in order to avoid telling the truth.

They believe it is right to respect some people and wrong to respect those they don’t like.

People have less compassion and do not recognize others need for help.

Character Education VS. Personal Values

Character Education should not be left with the teenagers if we want them to be responsible adults.

So the best way to convey character education is through stories.

Character education that teens will love is through moral stories.

Types of Moral Stories

1. Ancient Moral Stories• “King Midas and the Golden Touch” taught

high moral values to the ancient Greeks.• “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” taught honesty is

vital all times.• “The Good Samaritan” taught exercising love

and compassion towards all.

Types of Moral Stories2. Modern Moral Stories• Today’s teens do not want fables.• They want hot teen topics and everything

related to entertainment.• Character Education books are the answer

written in an exciting manner.• This will help them build moral values in a

way that they will remember.
