Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

The Coliseum is the first stadium to have hosted the Olympic Games twice, in 1932 and 1984.

It was declared National a Historic Landmark on July 27, 1984, the day before the opening ceremony of the 1984 Summer Olympic.

Alcatraz Island In 1972, Alcatraz became a

national recreation area and received designation as a National Historic Landmark in 1986.

Alcatraz Island is located in the San Francisco Bay, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) offshore from San Francisco, California ,United States. Often referred to as "The Rock", the small island was developed with facilities for a lighthouse, a military fortification, a military prison (1868), and a federal prison  from 1933 until 1963.

The Rose Bowl is an outdoor athletic stadium in Pasadena, California, U.S., in Los Angeles County. His official capacity 92.000 spectators. It has its name from the more than 100 varieties of roses planted around the stadium.

The stadium was designed by architect Myron Hunt in 1921.

The stadium was appointed in February 27, 1987 a National Historic Landmark and a California Historic Civil Engineering Landmark.
