Group activity

• As a group – Research one area of Nottingham, focussing on local businesses and shops. Present your findings to tutors on Friday am. You will each be given a specific area of Nottingham to research.

• Think about your audience and what they might need to know about the different area of Nottingham. You are now Design and Technology Education students (so a good knowledge of where to buy materials, get inspiration, research consumers, identify problems etc). Also remembering that your audience may have just moved to Nottingham and needs to know where to go out, take visitors, shop etc.

• Consider how you will present your information (wiki, digital photos, text, hyperlinks, power point etc.) The final resource needs to be electronic so that it can be stored in the NOW (VLE) area.
