SECURE UHF HANDHELD RADIO (LUP 291)

LUP 291 is a UHF handheld radio with inbuilt high grade digital secrecy.The radio set is state-of-the art design, compact and light weight. Interface is provided for Headgear and Crypto key loading.The operator interface is user friendly with minimum number of controls. The radio set is provided with helical and magnetic mount antennas.The radio set has in-built mic and speaker. VOX headgear is also available as optional accessory for hands free operation.

TIME DIVISION MODULAR EXCHANGE (TIDEX)

Time Division Modular Exchange (TIDEX) is a microprocessor controlled exchange. It provides automatic switching for subscribers, grid trunks and universal junctions. It is a communication switching equipment for use at various formation levels in the forward area. TIDEX can be configured to have an initial capacity of 40 subscribers, 6 grid trunks and 6 universal junctions and can be expanded in similar steps upto 160 subscribers, 24 grid trunks and 24 universal junctions. TIDEX provides full availability switching

SPURT MESSAGE ALPHANUMERIC RADIO TERMINAL

Spurt Message Alphanumeric Radio Terminal (SMART) is a microprocessor based message processing and Transmission equipment for field use. The terminal provides reliable burst transmission capability to reduce radio channel occupancy time with in reduction in probability of interference and jamming.

Messages are prepared 'off air' with the alphanumeric keyboard and display unit of the equipment and can be checked and edited.  The terminal supports both free and formatted text messages.

It also has built-in encryption for message text. This can be connected to a serial port ASCII printer for taking a hard copy of messages (sent as well as received). The terminal can also be optimized for a particular application.
