Questions asked in “Stress With Parents and School” survey:
1. On a scale of one to four (four being greatest), how often are you able to do your homework?
2. On a scale of one to four, how often do your parents nag you about doing your homework?
3. Has there ever been a rumor about you going around the school?
4. Was it a good or bad rumor?
5. Do you have a better relationship with one of your parents compared to the other?
6. Have you ever felt like one of your siblings was more favored by your parents compared to you?
7. Do your parents annoy you with things such as grades or chores?
8. Have you ever been yelled at by your parents for what you thought no reason?
9. Can your parents be over-protective at times?
10. How many times a week would you say your parents don’t allow you to leave the house for any reason?
Stress With Parents and School Survey
The purpose of this survey was to find out about a variety of seniors at West stresses with school and with their parents.
Stress: I believe that two of the biggest stresses
teens’ today have are from school (and schoolwork), and from their parents. I will use the results from the 19 students who took my survey to find out if I am correct in thinking this.

Results: 78% of the students who took this survey
say their parents annoy them about grades and chores.
78% have been yelled at by their parents for no reason.
89% of their parents are or have been over-protective
Conclusion: Based off of the results of this survey, I was
correct in thinking that school and parents are two of the biggest few annoyances or stresses in a teens’ life.
