WHAT IS HUNGER?• Developed countries : The uncomfortable feeling of you get when you
skip meals.
• Less Developed countries : People suffer from malnourishment and
do not get enough food to eat everyday.

• Poverty Trap
• War
• Nature
• Lack Of Agricultural Infrastructure
• Over-exploitation Of The Environment
CONCEQUENCES OF HUNGER
• Hunger results in lost knowledge, brainpower, and productivity for the nation.
• Pregnant women who suffer from hunger are more likely to have low-birthweight babies.
• Victims of hunger will be emotionally impacted by the hunger they experience.
• Children will suffer from growth stunts.
FACTS ABOUT HUNGER
• It is the number one risk to health today.
• In every 3.5 seconds, someone somewhere dies of hunger or hunger related causes. (a child dies due these causes every 6 seconds)
• 96,197 tons of food have been wasted in the USA than compared to the mere 20,054 tons of global food aid donated today.
• Actions are being taken in order to decrease world hunger.
