Lord Nelson birth & early yearsNelson was born on 29th September

1758 in Burnham Thorpe in Norfolk. He was sixth of 11 children of a

clergyman.Joined the Navy age 12 and became

captain at the age of 20 and saw services in the West Indies.

Entering wars with different countries

When Britian signed up for the battles of the French Relevoulation in 1793,

Nelson was giving the Agamemnon. He served in the Meditterian and saw

battles at Calvi. At the Battle of Calvi, Nelson lost his

sight in his right eye.

After the Battle of Calvi, Nelson lost his right arm and left side of his eye. He fought the Battle of Calvi, but in 1805 a bigger battle was to come. The Great Battle of Trafalgar.

Main events of the battle.

2 men- Napoleon from France and Nelson from England.

The Battle of Tralfagar was to witness defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte's plans to invade Britain, and the death of Admiral

Lord Nelson. The Battle was held on 21’st October

1805 in Trafalgar.

Navy brought the greatest threat os ships for over 200 years.

Nelson started the battle at sea for his new friends from France. The reason he won the battle was that he had 22

Years of sea ships.

Nelson death AT 1 O’clock, Hardy realised that

Nelson wasn’t to his side. He was shot by a french man and instally killed. The Battle of Tralfgar was won and

Nelson was ordered a state funeral at St Paul’s Cathedral.
