89C52 MICROCONTROLLER

8052 controller is Mask Programmable.

Derivative of 8052 microcontroller is the 89C52 microcontroller.

It has 4 ports.

It is an 8 bit device for I/O.

MAX 232 is an dual driver/receiver

It is used to convert the TTL/CMOS logic levels to RS232 logic levels during serial communication of microcontrollers with PC.

We require: TTL logic level (0-5V) and RS232 standards (-25 V to + 25V). Hence  difficult to establish a direct link. We go for an intermediate link i.e.

MAX232. MAX232 provides best noise rejection

and very reliable against discharges and short circuit.

This project uses : regulated 5V, 500mA power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage

regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac
