DefinitionThe auditory style is one of the three learning styles which consists on learning and studying things by hearing from other people or from ourselves, speaking and interacting. Auditory people transmit their feelings by shouting, singing or speaking loudly. Some of them love whistling and humming.

Characteristics1. We like speaking to anyone who listens to us. We also like listening our voice when we study because it is the key to remember lessons.

2. We tend to read out loud in class. However, without knowing it, we bother students who are trying to concentrate.

3. We usually express our feelings by singing any kind of music. (Its our passion ).

4. We do not distinguish words that may have the same spelling, although they have different meanings.

5. Some auditory people hold their heads on the table with their hands when they are writing.

6. Visual changes are not noticed by us.

I couldnt believe my eyes

7. When we get lost and its time to look up at the map, we prefer asking oral directions to someone.

8. In our spare time we enjoy talking with our friends instead of doing visual or kinaesthetic activities.

9. We do not read the newspaper; we listen to the radio or we hear the news on TV while we are doing other activities.

10.The majority of auditory people are extroverted and open-minded ,as they like talking all the time and interacting with other people.

11. Our memorizing way is repeating things several times until we remember them. Some kind of examples are telephone numbers or postal codes.

Thank you for listening!
