• When I was a small girl I I lived in the Canary Islands (La Palma) I lived with my mother, my brother and my father in a town called Puntallana.

• Afterwards my parents divorced and I moved to S / C De La Palma with my mother and my brother.

• My mother’s name is Belky.• My father’s name is Miguel

Angel and my brother’s name is Erik. Erik is 18 years.

• Dr. Fleming was the school where I went when I moved to Vigo.

• I had many friends (boys and girls)but one of them called Naira left the school, this was a very sad experience for me because we had a really great time together.

• My worst experience in school was to have to learn Galician and the best was meeting Sara and Marta Vallejo.

• The teacher who I like most was Jose Maria and the teacher was Luz.

• The books I like best are “El coleccionista de relojes extraordinarios” I think it is amazing and “La Tuneladora”.

• When I was a little girl I loved strawberries and I ate so many that nowadays I don’t like them at all.

• I like it a lot because it is large with canteen , the playground is big and there are a lot of plants and trees.

• My hopes are to pass the course and get good marks(I hope so because I study a lot)

• I like to study and I don’t worry about anything, nevertheless the exams make me wild.

THE VERY BEGINNING• My earliest memories about my childhood are very

remote; I can only remember that I lived in a house with a big garden; There we had three dogs whose names were Elsa, Yoko and Trufa. When I was a baby, they were my best friends because they followed me everywhere.

Later, I remember one day that my mother wasn´t at home for a few days, and when she came back, she wasn´t alone; she had a very little baby in her arms; this little person was my first brother, but I haven´t got many memories of him because I was too small.

I can also remember that I went to the nursery since I was a baby because my father and my mother had to go to work. There I played a lot and I made my first friend; his name was Alex and were all day together.

MONTHS OF AGE

YOU AND BOOKS• Now I am going to write about my favourite books. Since I

was a child, my parents bought many books about animals and they read with me because I enjoyed them very much.

When I was seven years old I found an old book that my grandparents had at home. This book belonged to my mother when she also was a child. The tittle of this book is “Color de fuego”. When I took it from the shelf I could see a very beautiful horse in its cover; The colour of this horse was like fire. As I always loved horses I inmediately began to read the book and it had a very big impact on me. Since then, it is my favourite book.

I also remember that when I was younger my mother bought a collection of animal books: each week we received a book about one animal and my mother gave it to me when she picked me up at school. This fact excited me very much.

EXPERIENCES AT PRIMARY SCHOOL

• About primary school I remember that I arrived at Fleming in the second course because until I was seven years old I lived in Nigrán.

• At the beginning I was very fearful because I didn´t know any boy or girl in that school. Soon I made good friends, and one of them is now one of my best friends. Another thing I was worried about was the teachers. At the other school I had had very good teachers but when I came to Dr. Fleming I didn´t know anything about them. But my new teachers were also fantastic and I learned a lot with them and I have a great affection for them now.

There were two subjects that I found particularly interesting : Maths and Natural Science ; in the two last courses they resulted newer than the others. For example, Maths was now more difficult than before but our teacher taught us to solve the problems as if they were a personal challenge for us. This fact transformed this subject in one of my favourite ones and this supposed a very positive experience for me.

SECONDARY SCHOOL

• I must admit that when I was finishing the sixth course at primary school I felt very nervous because I would soon have to go to High School, but now that I am here I feel very happy. One thing that permit me to enjoy this first course of my secondary education is that I have good friends in my same classroom and all the boys and girls who went to Fleming are now studying at this High School.

Another thing I like of this School is the playground; it is larger than the one we had at the Fleming and it has lots of trees and grass.

My hopes for the future are a little confused, but I am sure that I would like to study veterinary science and work with horses.

But I am worried about the possibility of having a job in ten or twelve years time, because now our country is trying to resolve a deep economic and financial crisis and it is impossible to know if we will be able to get a good job in the future.

CLASSMATES

HOBBIES & INTERESTS• In my free time I like to walk with my dog,

playing football and tennis and swimming, but what I love and like more than any other activity in the world is horse riding. I cannot describe what I feel when I am riding my favourite horse. His name is Nemo and he is very strong and beautiful. All Saturday afternoon I go to the riding school and I spend the whole afternoon and evening there. The first thing I do there is to clean the horses and the stables. Then we prepare them for a walk in the forest. This year I am galloping a lot and it is the most exciting sensation I have ever had.
