STATEHOOD Arizona became the 44th state in the

U.S.. It’s Capital is Phoenix, Arizona. One of it’s nicknames is Valentine state because it became a state on February 14, 1912. Which is the day of Valentines day.

any other state. The biggest attraction is the Grand Canyon and Oak Creek Canyon is the 2nd most visited. Another one is Fort Huachuca which is a military bases.
