HOW TO… GIVE YOUR IMAGES THE ‘MAGAZINE TREATMENT’ : improves skin tone, lips, eyes and hair colour, also allows you to apply filters to specific areas 1) Open your image in Photoshop 2) Click on this icon in the bottom left hand tool bar 3) Click on the brush tool 4) Paint over the area you want to adjust e.g. skin – It will turn RED You may need to change your brush size to allow greater accuracy around eyes and lips etc. 5) Now click the icon again 6) dotted lines will appear around your selection

HOW TO…

GIVE YOUR IMAGES THE ‘MAGAZINE TREATMENT’: improves skin tone, lips, eyes and hair colour, also allows you to apply filters to specific areas

1) Open your image in Photoshop

2) Click on this icon in the bottom left hand tool bar

3) Click on the brush tool

4) Paint over the area you want to adjust e.g. skin – It will turn RED

You may need to change your brush size to allow greater accuracy around eyes and lips etc.

5) Now click the icon again

6) dotted lines will appear around your selection

7) Go to Select – Inverse in the top tool bar

8) Now go to Image – Adjustments and then either Colour Balance or Brightness / Contrast (of Filter to apply filters to selected area)

9) Play with sliding bars to adjust the colour / tone / brightness / contrast of your selection

10)When happy, click OK and then Ctrl+D to deselect

11)Repeat as necessary
