• Penny Dreadful is a British-American horror drama television series

• The title refers to the penny dreadfuls, a type of 19th-century cheap British fiction publication with lurid and sensational subject

matter.

• This is a supernatural horror• The Perrons and their five daughters have recently

moved into a secluded farmhouse, where a supernatural presence has made itself known. Though the manifestations are relatively gentle at first, events soon escalate in horrifying fashion, especially after the Warrens( Investigators ) discover the house's ghastly history.
