Front CoverFront Cover

•My front cover is has been made with its target audience in mind, the front cover also has text placed on it that will be easier for the readers to read, by this I mean there is nothing on the front cover that my target audience will not be familiar with.

•The cover lines on my front cover are quite bold and eye catching, as the cover lines which are placed on the front cover are quick and snappy, they also don’t give that much away to the readers, this is a plus point on my behalf as the quick and snappy cover lines will help to make the reader carry on reading the magazine.

•The main headline also stands out and doesn’t say that much to the readers of the magazine it’s short and bold, the picture that represents the main headline is also been done at a high quality standard it fits right with the main headline and represents it well.

Contents PageContents Page

•My contents page gives many connotations as you can see that the background placed on my contents page is of a music note this gives the connotation that the celebrity on the contents page is merging music from the western side with the Bhangra side of music. My contents page is simple but it still has the conventions that a music magazine has to have in them, it informs the reader about what they are going to be seeing in the magazine and also what they are going to be reading.

•The image which I have placed on the front cover is excellent also it is black and white this helps as it helps to stand out in front of the audience, even though I have done this to my contents page image I haven't let it take my audiences eyes away from the content as I also want the audiences to engage and read my magazine

Double Page SpreadDouble Page Spread •I have also done my double page spread having in mind magazine conventions as I have not placed bold images. (except the two images which are the main story pictures) I did this as I wanted the pictures to stand out and also make the page stand out besides that my background is not that bold and doesn’t take the light of my article.

•The articles which is placed in the magazine represents the story quite well and explains the meaning behind the pictures and the headline, I did this so I can keep my readers engaged in my magazine.

Overall Overall •On the whole I believe that my music magazine has the appeal and standard to be placed in a music magazine market as it follows all conventions that are to be included in a magazine and it appeals directly to the target audience and doesn’t go off the point and reasons why it has been made.
