School Shopping Practice

1. Choose a partner at your table and grab a bag of money. Each bag has about $100.

2. One partner needs to ask how much the school material costs and the other partner needs to give a price. Exchange the money for the item. Switch roles.

3. Use a variety of items and numbers. Use your vocabulary sheets and items in the room.

Partner A: ¿How much is the folder?

Partner B: 82 cents.

Scavenger Hunt

1. Number a piece of scrap paper 1-15.

2. You may work alone, with a partner or with a group of 3.

3. There are 15 yellow post-it notes with numbers on them throughout the room posted to school materials and classroom objects.

4. It is your mission to locate as many as you can with the time given and write each vocabulary word in English next to the number on your scrap sheet.

5. Sit down if finished. We will go over them as a class.

Schedules and timeCreate a schedule listing your class subjects and what times you have them.

Choose one day of the week; On mine, I did Monday.

With a partner, practice asking each other what time a class or lunch is. The partner needs to respond with the correct time on the schedule in English
