PLAYING WITH SHAPES, COLOURS AND SIZES

Wassily Kandinsky

Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian abstract artist who liked shapes and colours.

The shapes he was most interested in were the circle, triangle, and the square.

Our first activity is inspired by Kandinskys Squares with Concentric Circles

We drew a small circle and then 2-3 circles around the original circle on a piece of white paper

Next, the kids used crayons to fill in the circles.

Finally, they cut out the circles and glued them on construction paper.
