Only 1 in 10 students growing up in poverty will graduate from college and I believed that I could help change this. That is why I decided to join…….

To see the light that gleams from my students’ eyes when they finally grasp a concept excites me. I strive to be prepare my students not to just be great mathematicians. I have taught my students to ask questions, and not to just accept what is given to them. This has ultimately changed the way they think…not just about math, but life in general.
