Adjetivo não tem gênero.

-Joe is a good boy.

-Mary is a good girl.

Adjetivo não tem número.

-I bought a new computer.

-They sold four new cars.

O adjetivo sempre precedo o substantivo que ele qualifica.

-I know some corrupt politicians. (Eu conheço alguns políticos corruptos.)

-We live in a wonderful country. (Nós moramos num país maravilhoso.)

-Many young girls prefer long hair. (Muitas jovens preferem cabelos longos.)

Quando há mais de um adjetivo qualificando um substantivo, devemos lembrar que existem adjetivos de fato e de opinião. Os de fato, (idade, tamanho, cor, origem, etc.) que dão informações sobre características de um substantivo, vem sempre antes deste. Os de opinião, que traduzem a idéia que alguém tem sobre determinado substantivo, precedem os adjetivos de opinião.

Assim quando houver dois ou mais adjetivos qualificando um substantivo, eles deverão seguir a ordem:

1. Opinião 2. Tamanho 3. Idade 4. Forma 5. Cor 6. Origem 7. Material
