What is your gender?This connotes that the majority of the responders were male, this shows that I should have made show that more females are involved in the survey, although I did send the survey to equal amounts and males and females I could have sent more to female to make sure there is an equal result.

Do read rock magazines regularly?This graph tells me that only 1 out of 10 people questioned read rock magazines. One interpretation of this data could be that the people who live in this area do not Mach the stereotypical target readership of rock magazines so barely anyone buys them, alternatively, this could suggest that there is an open market for rock magazine in this area because there is not much completion

Do you think there is enough female coverage in music magazines of this genre? This shows that many people are un sure whether there is enough female coverage, this is most likely due to the lack of reading of magazines of this genre. However, no one said that there definitely was enough female coverage so this prove my hypothesis that there is not enough an I need to include some to make my magazine appeal to both genres.

What is the most important feature of a music magazine front cover? This tells me that I need to have an exclusive story in order to sell my magazine to people and also have an image of a star that the reader will engage with the reader. This also tells me that a strapline is very unimportant on the front caver as very few people notice this, therefore will not spend to much effort into this aspect of the front cover and instead concentrate on the story and image.

This indicates that I need to put a festival ticket promotion in my magazine to keep up with the existing rock magazines.

Which title is the most suitable for a rock magazine? The results clearly connote that the respondents thing that “the A list” is the most suitable name for my rock magazine. Because I am combining my results for both the survey and the questioner, I have to find the option with the most votes for this question and “the A list” and “comprehensive rock” both have a score of 7. This makes it hard to chose one title.
