An Institution of higher learning in Ghana with the dream of being a first class centre of learning by 2018. It is a polytechnic institute whose objective is to train high caliber, carrer focus, middle level technical persons with the requisite knowledge and skills for all sectors of the economy. For industry, the graduates of Wa polytechnic are suppose to convert resources and ideas into goods and services.

• Provide opportunities for skills development, applied research and publication of research findings.
