3D Graphs

• Fold piece of paper in half.

• Open the piece of paper and use the fold as the x-axis.

• Draw the graph from a data set as normal for a bar graph, ensuring there is an equal space between the bars.

• “Reflect” the bars equally in the x-axis.

• Fold the piece of paper in half and cut along the edges of the bars.

• Ensure both sides of the bars line up…

• Don’t cut the top of the bar or you will cut it out!

• Open the paper half way and poke each of the bars through from behind.

• You now have a 3D graph.

• I have used graph paper here (and stuck it to card) however, for a more able group, using a pencil and ruler to draw the graph.
