Laser PrintersA laser printer is a device that uses LED technology (light emitting diodes) to transfer small particles of powdered ink (called toner) from an ink cartridge

The First 3D Printer
The first form of 3D printing was developed in the mid-1980s by computer scientist Charles "Chuck" Hull. It is known as stereolithography. It uses a
tank filled with gallons of liquid plastic called photopolymer, which hardens into a solid when exposed to ultraviolet light.

Open Source Technology
Open source technology is any type of computer program or software that has not been copyrighted by its creators.
Code is another word for the programming that makes software run. Most software is called "closed source." That means that the code is owned by a company and nobody outside of the company can see or change the code.
Open source technology is the opposite: anyone can see the code and they can even change it on their own computers. Open source code makes it possible for regular people to copy a program's code and make changes to it, or suggest improvements to developers.

3D Printed FabricsDesigner Jiri Evenhuise worked together with Janne Kyttanen to make the needle and thread obsolete by using a software that collects a person’s body data to instantly create perfect fitting clothing. This type of technology is recyclable, requires less labor, shortens production time and ultimately lowers the carbon footprint for a greener way to create clothing. Plus, you can be sure that clothing you buy online can fit you like a glove.
