NAF Generated Career Skills

• Demonstrating teamwork and cooperation• Demonstrating leadership and management skills• Being open and responsive to new and diverse perspectives• Adapting to varied roles and responsibilities• Monitoring one's own understanding needed for success• Utilizing time efficiently when managing highly complex tasks• Working effectively in a climate of ambiguity and changing priorities• Demonstrating diligence and a positive work ethic in a highly

challenging situation

Break Out Sessions

• Organize by Theme (including Engineering)• 4 – 5 People Per Team / one easel per team• Develop Ways to Integrate 21st Century Skills Into

Curriculum (pick a course if possible)– Pick a small number of skills from the list of 15– Sketch 2 or 3 activities that support these skills

• Identify Roadblocks to Implementation• Develop Roadblock Remediation Plan• Approximately 40 minutes



Group Sessions

• Teams report out to group (20 minutes)– Identify skills supported by activity– Briefly outline activity– Identify possibly Roadblocks– Discuss Roadblock Remediation Plans
