• Renaissance uses “Real World” Strategies of Rewarding, Recognizing, Respecting, and Reinforcing excellence and improvement in our students and teachers.

• INCENTIVE - That which incites to action.• MOTIVE - Something that prompts a person to act

in a certain way.

STAFF PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT:Ideas to motivate staff:

• Print business cards for all staff, including support personnel.

• Create pin with school’s academic logo. Order portfolios with academic logo imprint.

• Develop exclusive academic sportswear similar to that worn by coaches & athletes.

• Create staff awards, i.e. teacher of the month, best attendance record, etc…

• Have administrator take on a class for a day giving the teacher a day off for outstanding work.

• Highlight staff in weekly staff blog• Ask former students to come back and speak
