Sights of Warsaw

The capital of Poland with over 1.7 million inhabitants. It is a business city and an important scientific and cultural centre. The city was almost completely destroyed during the World War II and that is why its present architectural landscape has been shaped by the years of communism.

Old Town

Former seat of the royal family and capital of Poland. Thousands of tourists visit the city each year because of its stunning architecture and treasures of arts. It’s an important cultutal and academic centre with the first Polish university, the Jagiellonian University founded in 1364.

Zakopane is so called „ Winter capital of Poland”. The Tatras, the hills of Podhale are considered the most attractive touristic region of Poland and together with the town itself are ideal places for walks or hikes.

Seaport and the seaside

A major Polish seaport. Together with Gdynia and Sopot it forms a metroplex called TriCity. It has a beautiful Old Town reflecting its long and turbulent history. It is also a city where the Worls War II began and the birthplace of the Polish Solidrity movement.

Sights of the town

One of the oldest and largest Polish cities. Thanks to its location on the Paris – Moscow it has always been an important transport and trade centre. The city economic power peaks today due to numerous foreign investments. This together with a great number of universities and research institutes makes it the second fastest developing city in Poland.
