Biography

Born 1746, 30th March

in Fuendetodos, a

village in northern

Spain.

Died1828, 16th April in

voluntary exile in

France.

Influences

Apprentice to Jose Luzan at age 14.

The decorative Rococo style, which was very

popular at the time.

Neoclassicism, which replaced Rococo in

popularity.

He served as a commissioned artist for Royals

and Spanish aristocrats.
