LITERATURE, 10TH GRADE

TOPIC: Facing Reality and Truth

Evaluate someone who inspires you with his or her way of facing reality and truth

to overcome obstacles and succeed in life.

Assess the impact of responses to an argument: challenges, supporting evidence,

counter-examples, etc.

You may be introduced to the view or belief of a respected academic or thinker.

For instance, this might be Noam Chomsky’s criticism of US foreign policy or

Gandhi’s belief that violence can never be justified.

The following instructions will be taken into account:

Written report: given the limit on number of words (2000 at least) the

following approximate balance is recommended:

Description of context 400 words

Analysis 800 words

Discussion and conclusions 800 words

Your presentation will include the following: text, images, graphics, video,

etc.

Proofread your biography and include citations for your images, video, and

other sources of information. Add this at the end of your presentation.

This presentation should be no more than 16 minutes long.

Plagiarism from library, Internet or other sources is not acceptable.
