Look ahead 2012
Beautiful Gate, Methodist Ministry for Disabled was established since 1993. A Centre was set up in Petaling Jaya in 1995 to provide training, services, food & accommodation for persons with disabilities. .
Beautiful Gate Foundation For The Disabled was incorporated in 2003 and obtained tax exemption status in 2004.
Throughout the years , 6 more centres were set up in various cities
KEPONG – 1996Leader: Kenneth Teng, a quadriplegic
KAMPAR – 1999Leader: Racheal Tan, a polio victim
SEREMBAN – 2001Leader: Wong Soo Pin, a polio victim
MELAKA – 2006Leader: Lee Siew Pang
KLANG – 2006Leader: Lee Yew Hoe, cerebral palsy
MANJUNG – 2009Leader: Norwis Boon, a quadriplegic
2012 New Centre
Located in Taman Perindustrian Puchong
Currently under renovation and estimated to start providing service in July 2012
Target to serve disabled community in Puchong, Subang Jaya, USJ & Shah Alam

Organised First National Conference on Accessible Tourism to promote disabled friendly accessibility, together with JICA Malaysia, DPIAP, MCR, MPSJ, Heap Hope and 14 disabilities related NGOs.

2012 PLANS
1. Building Project
• Set up new centre in Puchong• Rebuild whole building of Kepong Centre• Renovate Baking Room of Melaka Centre• Relocate new Recycling Unit for PJ Centre
2. New Services
• Strengthen Job Placement Department and Officially Launch www.okujobs.com.my
• Implement Home Schooling Program for disabled children who cannot attend school due to severe health condition.
• Organise Recycling Awareness Program in schools.
3. Activities
