Main Image

The main image included on the newspaper advertisement should be relevant to the channel and specific. The size of the main image needs to be large and advertising to suit the target audience. The colours used in the image should blend in with the colour and font of the text used on the advertisement.

Name Of The Channel

The name of the channel needs to be clear to allow the audience to identify the new TV Channel. Each different TV Channels are competitive, therefore, it is important that the audience grabs the information of the channel first. Also, the name of the channel needs to be big clear and colourful to make the advertisement different and creative.

TV Channel Logo

The logo needs to be clear and visible to allow the audience to identify their channel. Again, the colour of the logo needs to contrast against the main image in the background to make it easier for the audience to view. The logo is stereotypically placed in the upper left corner; however, this can depend on the background image.

House Style

It is important for the house style to stay consistent and the same throughout the newspaper advertisement. Using a house style will make the TV channel more recognisable and memorable to the audience type. Also, the newspaper advertisement looks more professional and engages with the readers.
