Unleashing the energies of social
entrepreneurs
We aspire to a world where people act to make it better
UnLtd* History… UnLtd was formed in 2002 by seven leading non-profit organisations
working with social entrepreneurs both across the UK and
internationally: including Changemakers, Community Action Network
(CAN), Comic Relief, and The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE).
UnLtd’s Awards are mainly funded by the income generated by the
£100 million endowment from the Millennium Commission, as a
permanent source of grants for individuals throughout the UK to
develop their own skills and talents, and to contribute to the
community. However some Awards are funded in partnership with
organisations such as 4iP
UnLtd* puts social entrepreneurs at the heart of everything we do: we
provide the support, the tools and the means necessary to help passionate
people turn great ideas into sustainable projects.
Our mission is to reach out and unleash the energies of people who can
transform the world in which they live. We call these people social
entrepreneurs.

Help From Home (Change the World in Just Your Pyjamas) is an initiative that
promotes and encourages people to perform micro-volunteering actions. It does
this by providing information on easy, no commitment micro-volunteering
opportunities where the majority, if not all of the action can be performed from
the comfort of a person's home. Almost all of the 500 plus actions/initiatives
listed so far on the site will cost nothing or very little to complete and take no
more than 30 minutes to accomplish. Some can even be performed in under 10
seconds without getting out of your favourite chair or pyjamas!
