From Taunton
Take the B3170 south from the town centre along South
Road, cross the M5, then before reaching the Racecourse
take a left turn signposted to Staple Fitzpaine. After 3km at
the end of the long straight you enter the hamlet of Winter
Well and Badger Street. Look for the field entrance on your
right before reaching Badger Street Farm.
From the M5
Exit at Junction 25 and take the A358 towards Chard. After
7km look for a right turn signposted to Staple Fitzpaine.
Follow this lane through Bickenhall, then after a long
straight you will reach Staple Fitzpaine. Turn right at the
cross roads in the village, towards Taunton. After 1.5km
you enter the hamlet of Badger Street and Winter Well.
Look for a left turning into a field entrance before reaching
Winter Well.
From Wellington
Come up Ford Street hill and turn left onto the ridge road.
Follow the ridge all the way through to the Holman Clavel,
bear left and continue across Staple Hill, signposted to
Chard. Cross the cross roads and continue for 4km, then
take the left hand turn down the hill towards Staple
Fitzpaine. Continue through the village past the Greyhound
Inn, for 1.5km, entering the hamlet of Badger Street and
Winter Well, then look for a left turning into the field
entrance before reaching Winter Well.

On reaching the site entrance, drive up the track into the
wood. Parking is in a linear strip along the right hand
edge of the first section of track inside the wood. The
workshop site is 500m on foot up the hill beyond the
parking area. NB: There is a toilet on site.
