What do you need to know about working with wedding photographers?

The Preliminary Interview

Photos to TakeAs you are meeting with the wedding photographers, find out if they will allow you to provide them with a list of pictures that you absolutely want taken on your wedding day.

Most photographers will allow you to provide such a list, but, again, you just want to be prepared.

Coordinating The TimesWhen you hire a wedding photographer, make sure that everyone is clear on what time the person will be arriving and when departure shall be.

You will likely also want to ensure that both your photographer and videographer arrive at the same time.

Putting Together the Album

Your relationship with the photographer will continue after the wedding is over. Be sure that your contract stipulates how long the proofs will take and how many you are able to include in your album.

Some packages will come with only one album while others will contain a few to distribute to close family members.
