High-profile IDC events in the CEE region are proven
platforms where technology providers, innovators, and
the region’s top CxOs come together and explore how
technology can best be adapted to meet the challenges
facing decision makers.
The IDC Predictions series will be followed by the
exclusive CIO Summit 2015 in Vienna. Our biggest-ever
CIO event in Austria, CEE, Russia, and the CIS will bring
together IT leaders from the largest enterprises April 23–
24, 2015.
Taking place in January, February and March 2015, IDC’s Predictions Events will kick off next year’s series of CxO
meetings focusing on the contribution of technology to sustained business competitiveness and new growth.
IDC’s CxO Mixers, taking place in major cities of Central
and Eastern Europe in May and June 2015, will follow on
the Vienna Summit; at these mixers, CIOs and CxOs will
discuss how to converge business and IT.
IDC CxO Predictions EventsPredictions 2015: Agility Required

The acceleration of IT development begets business innovation, which is why lines of business are often at the
forefront of new products and models. Savvy C-level and director-level leaders recognize that IT can liberate
processes, allowing their companies to lead change by staying well ahead of the competition.
These organizations embrace flexibility. Top banks that once planned product and channel development years in
advance now do so in months. Online and in-store analytics among retailers have compressed time to market and
product deployment from months to weeks. In fields ranging from healthcare to manufacturing, 3D printing has
reduced the production of complex machinery and consumer goods from weeks to days. And among B2B companies,
research about clients that once took days, weeks, or months, can now be done in hours.
IDC's Predictions 2015 helps you to anticipate the future of IT months and years in advance. It gives you insight into
new technology and delivery methods which often excludes IT teams and which gives your competitors an advantage
— unless you get there first.
At IDC 2015 Predictions Events, the discussion will focus on:
The emerging technologies most likely to drive or destroy your organization
Where the Internet of Things is most likely to intersect with your business
Leadership strategies for ensuring that the new complexity does not prevent flexibility
Business, training, and IT strategies for creating a foundation that promotes agility

Anchor Themes – Predictions 2015Global topics with a local focus
The consumer’s expanding digital footprint
Consumers are becoming ever more digital – from smartphone to smart car and smart home. Digitization on a personal
level changes many things: the method of communication, the way of organizing work, the preferred communication
channels, the expectations of information access, and information sharing.
The shift to customer centrism
Consumers and citizens are being centralized; products are being replaced with brands and experience; stores are being
replaced with the omnichannel; information access and patients' rights are replacing godlike doctors reactively treating
symptoms with patient-centric holistic care; in government, transactional and reactive services are being replaced with
life-event mapping and predictive services.
Digitization of the enterprise
Transformation of the back-office and customer-facing enterprise functions, the emergence of digital and data assets,
the changing roles of the IT department and the CIO.
Business model and ecosystem transformation
From products to services, from multi-tier distribution channels to direct sales, the transformation of industries (media,
music, airlines, retail, automotive manufacturing, city taxi transportation, banking, insurance, etc.), information-
centric partners (supplying not a component of our products, but partnering for richer information collection and
analysis), industry platforms as a service, new ways of partnering/shared business models.
The transformation of IT suppliers
As IT becomes a core business enabler rather than a business support function, the IT supplier also has to evolve into a
more strategic business innovation partner.

Terms & Conditions (1/3)For IDC Events
This agreement relates to the non-exclusive Partnership of the events entitled "IDC Predictions" which are organized by the IDC CEMA ("The Organizer").
It will be the responsibility of The Organizer to show the logo of the Partner on its Web pages promoting the conferences and to organize a direct link to the Partner's homepage. The Partner will undertake to promote the conference on its homepage and to organize a link from its homepage to the IDC conference page.
The placement of any logos or marketing materials of the Partner’s local distributors, representatives, implementation partners, etc., with or in addition to the Partner's logo and/or material in or on conference promotional materials, at the exhibition area, in conference tote bags, or on any other collateral relating to the event is subject to an additional fee of EUR 1,500 per logo or individual item of material. Individual items of material may include (but are not limited to) logos, banner, stickers, pamphlets, brochures, Web banners, factsheets, fliers, desktop collateral (pens, mugs, notebooks, calendars, etc.), t-shirts, pins, and badges.
It will be the responsibility of The Organizer to ensure that the names of the Partners and their role as "sponsor" will be indicated together with the names of the other Partners, in all the places and circumstances in which The Organizer announces, presents, or describes the event(s). In particular, the names of the Partners will be indicated on the event’s communication material: advertising, invitations, brochures, press files, etc.
IDC Predictions Partners are required to appoint a top executive as a speaker, preferably a CEO, VP, or Country Manager. In order to ensure the integrity of the agenda and as a matter of respect for the efforts of all the Partners, The Organizer reserves the right to refuse the Speakers indicated by the Partners if their rank does not meet the event's requirements. If the Partner is unable to provide a suitable speaker, the speaking slot will be forfeited and no refund will be made.
The Organizer will have the right to move the Partner’s speaking slot, if necessary in order to ensure the smooth and logical flow of the agenda.
It is the Partner’s responsibility to arrange, sufficiently in advance of the conference, visas or any other official documentation necessary for entering the country where the event is held. The Partner is also responsible for dealing with customs authorities in case of transporting marketing materials or products for distribution or display at the conference. Upon request, The Organizer will provide contacts for agencies that will assist with the necessary administration. Furthermore, the Partner is liable for all costs associated with transporting marketing materials between cities. In the event that The Organizer arranges for such transportation, the Partner will be invoiced for these services at cost.
Each Partner will be authorized to publicize its partnership of the event in any way that it sees fit, providing that this fully and clearly respects the image of the event, its Organizers, and the other Partners.

Terms & Conditions (2/3)
For IDC Events
It is understood that, in all circumstances, The Organizer retains complete authority over, and responsibility for, the program, contents, and management of the events. However, The Organizer holds no responsibility for the incorrect printing of brochures, conference programs, and badges if the required materials and information are not provided by the deadline set by The Organizer. Any additional services required by the Partner (hosts and hostesses, translation of materials for conference purposes, after-the-fact packing of conference bags with the Partner’s materials if said materials were not delivered on time, collating partner folders for conference tote bags, labeling, etc.), may be charged as an additional cost. The IDC Conference Director will inform the Partner of the applicable fees.
The signing of any partnership agreement guarantees the right to use the communication opportunities offered by the event as described above, subject to deadlines for advertising and press work.
Any Partner can make any suggestions concerning the organization of the event as it sees fit. Nevertheless, The Organizer reserves its inalienable right to determine the program, content, and management of the event in order to ensure its absolute objectivity and impartiality.
The Predictions Partners agree to follow the advice of the Predictions Content Committee related to content and style of their presentation. The final presentation shall be delivered to The Organizer no later than five days before the event.
The Organizer is solely responsible for the proper organization of the event and for the execution of this agreement. The Organizer is expressly not liable for damage caused by circumstances beyond the performance of this Agreement and especially for delays, interruptions, defects, or poor handling of the event derived from force majeure as well as errors arising from insufficient, incomplete, incorrect, or inaccurate data or information provided by the Partner. Nor shall the Organizer be held liable for any damage, including theft, deterioration, damage, loss of property, or personal injury that occurs within the area used by the Partner.
The Partner’s speakers hereby agree not to quote data from any competitors of IDC in their presentations if IDC has such data available. For this purpose, the Partner will submit its presentations to the Organizer at least 20 days before the conference, outlining the data it requires. Should the required data be unavailable at IDC, the Partner will then be allowed to quote other sources. In any instance where a Partner does not follow this procedure, the Organizer shall have the right to deem any slides quoting data from IDC competitors unacceptable, and such slides will not be shown at the conference.
If the Partnership Agreement is signed less than four weeks before the event, The Organizer does not guarantee that the Partner will receive all the benefits offered for that particular partnership level, especially those tied to third-party deadlines (brochures, advertisements, etc.).
All terms, conditions, and prices are strictly confidential.
An invoice will be issued upon receipt of order. Payment terms are 14 days from the date of invoice.

Terms & Conditions (3/3) For IDC Events
Termination of Contract
In the event of a change in the date of the event, The Organizer shall send a written notification to the Partners. For reasons of force majeure, the event may be suspended or canceled. In case of a change of date, the Partner shall not be entitled to any refund of the amount paid. In case of cancellation, the partnership level and the fee will be transferred to another event on the IDC calendar, chosen by the Partner.
Due to the limited number of partnerships available, we are unable to accept cancellations. Upon signing the contract, the Partner will be liable for the full amount due.
