Welcome to our PT schemes 2021Our proficiency testing schemes for 2021 are now open for registration.

In 2021, we are expanding our program in food microbiology and will include a new matrix; SEAFOOD! The seafood program contains relevant target organisms for this type of matrix, and will be a good complement to our regular food program. The program is suitable for all laboratories analyzing products from the marine sector.

In 2021, we are also expanding our water program to offer coagulase positive Staphylococcus and Pseudomonas spp. from trial 21WT02.

In addition, we will offer a separate program for the detection of Salmonella spp., Campylobacter spp. and enteropathogenic Vibrio spp. in water by filtration.

Eurofinscan offer

• Accredited PT schemes for food and water microbiology according to ISO/IEC 17043. Our latest accreditation document is available here

• A wide range of target organisms

• Natural food as testing material. The food samples will contain their natural flora, in addition to the inoculated cultures. These samples are designed to challenge you as a laboratory and will be the best tool to assess the quality of your daily analyzes

• To have the quality of your test results assessed by an external partner

• To identify needs for training, maintain competence and indicate areas of improvement

• To make sure that the laboratory is able to deliver reproducible results to its customers

• To meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. PTs must cover all accredited analyzes if such programs exists
