2. Technology Blog for Parents
The purpose of creating and maintaining a blog is to have my
parents informed on the process that students are making not only
in academics, but also in technology.
3. Technology Blog for Parents
In this photo my third grade students from last year used
mini-laptops on a regular basis.
My students created power points over a novel that we read in
class.
That is exactly what I would say on my blog, but with more detail.
I would even have the ability to upload their projects.
4. 1st Grade 10-5-10 Smart Table
Here are my students completing an activity where they have to put
the days of the week in order by working together.
5. 1st Grade 10-5-10 Smart Table
Students are using the media activity to play video clips of songs
that go with the alphabet and numbers.
6. 1st Grade 10-5-10 Smart Response Clickers
Students are using the clickers to chime in answers to addition
story problems.
7. 1st Grade 10-5-10 Smart Response Clickers
Students are using the clickers to practice addition story
problems. They have their dry erase boards to work out the problem
using different strategies.
8. 3rd Grade 2009-2010 Smart Document Camera
We had a visitor come to my class last year to read a special
story. Instead of everyone surrounding her trying to strain to see
the pictures, we were able to project the book instead.
9. Podcasts
On my blog I would have a link available for parents to access so
students can listen to storiesI have recorded at home or even on
their IPods.
10. Weekly Technology Blog for Parents
The slides are small examples of how my blog would be set up. The
only difference would be for me to give more details on exactly
what skill we were using and how they were incorporating it with
technology.
