configured.
Aim:-
How to configure web browsers LAN proxy settings, bookmarks, search toolbars, pop up
blockers. How to configure plug-ins.
Requirements:-

that OS like Mozilla, Safari etc.
Procedure:-
Are you blocked from accessing the websites you need, by your school, office, or
government? Proxies allow you to bypass blocks placed on your connection and mask your IP,
making your actions more difficult to trace. Once you find a proxy server that you want to
connect to, you simply need to enter that information into your web browser.

We have found that most browsers are compatible with the proxy server. Here are a few special
considerations:
Mac Users - . Safari, Firefox and Chrome are all compatible with proxy server.
Windows Users - All popular browsers appear to work well with the proxy server
including Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. Chrome uses the Windows proxy
server, the same ones used by IE. DSL users may find the configuration more difficult in
IE than in Netscape or Firefox but all will work.
Step 1: Click the Firefox menu:
First consider your web browser as Firefox. This is located in the upper-left corner of the
Firefox window. Click Options.
Step 2: Select the Advanced options:

Settings web browser for Bookmarks, Pop-up blockers, Search toolbars:
Pop-Up Blockers:
A pop-up blocker (sometimes called a pop-up killer) is a program that prevents pop-ups from
displaying in a user's Web browser.
Pop-up blockers work in a number of ways: some close the window before it appears, some
disable the command that calls the pop-up, and some alter the window's source HTML.
One problem with pop-up blockers has been that they cannot always differentiate between an
unwanted pop-up window and one that is user-requested.
Step 1: Access the Google Chrome menu on the toolbar:
The menu on the toolbar is at the top right of your browser..
