When you arrive on campus on Wednesday, August 21st, we will be here to greet you and make you feel at home. Your three-day comprehensive orientation experience will occur Thursday to Saturday, followed by our Week of Welcome. The programs this first week provide you immediate opportunities to get better acquainted with the campus, get involved, meet fellow classmates and make new friends — making the transition to Saint Rose an enjoyable one.
As you settle in, you will soon discover that Saint Rose truly is a special place.

Ran'D Shine has wowed audiences with his brilliant presentation at the 44th Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C, as well as Capetown, South Africa. On Wednesday, August 21st, you will be greeted by yourArrival Assistants who will help move you into your residence hall between 8:00am–2:00pm. Your Resident Assistant (RA) will be available to answer any questions that may arise and to check you in. Staff will be set up in Lima and Brubacher Halls to check you in, distributing keys and information. If you are moving into Brubacher Hall, please proceed down O’Leary Blvd. and into the Brubacher driveway, where Arrival Assistants will meet you. If you are moving into any other Residence Hall, we request you drive into the parking lot entrance at 921 Madison Ave. (Lima Lot; between DeSales and Maginn Halls). Look for Security to direct you from there.
Please make sure all of your belongings are clearly marked with your name, building, and room number upon your arrival to campus.

First Year and Transfer Commuter Students
Commuter students should arrive between 2pm and 3pm on Wednesday, August 21st to pick up their student ID.Upon arrival, students should proceed to the third floor lobby of Saint Joseph Hall to retrieve their ID and then continue directly to the Atrium of the Events and Athletics Center to check-in for Comprehensive Orientation.
After check-in, students will make their way to Nolan Gymnasium for the opening event.

Justin Rupple is quickly becoming one of comedy’s fastest rising stars. He has appeared on national television, co-starred in a worldwide action film and won national comedy competitions. His voice has appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Fate of the Furious, and How to Train Your Dragon. Known around the U.S. for his impressions, he won Dana Carvey’s First Impressions, winning the $10,000 prize, and title of “One of the Countries Best Impressionists”. If you want more events like this, talk with Student Events Board about their programs, from comedians to semi-formal dances, to off campus trips. Clubs are not the only place on campus to get involved. Hear from Intercultural Leadership about socials, workshops, and ways to be connected on campus.
