Dear Parents/Carers

Peripatetic Music Lessons at Holcombe Grammar School

We would like to invite your son to have instrumental lessons from enthusiastic, talented and experienced peripatetic music teachers at Holcombe Grammar School. These lessons are open to all students at all levels including complete beginners and we only ask that they practise at least an hour a week, and attend their lessons on time.

We have a wide range of staff currently teaching the following instruments:

Guitar (Electric, Acoustic and Bass) PianoWoodwind (Clarinet, Flute, and Saxophone)Brass (Trumpet, Cornet, Trombone, etc)DrumsVoice

If your child is interested in learning an instrument that is not currently on this list, please write the instrument down and we will endeavour to find an appropriate teacher to provide lessons for that instrument.

Peripatetic lessons, including payments, are arranged via the instrumental teacher; therefore, could you please fill in the form on the back of this letter and the music department will hand it over to the appropriate teacher to contact you about these lessons.

I hope that you child takes advantage of this fantastic opportunity as it will develop their skills and understanding of music; improve their confidence, concentration and motor skills; and give them the satisfaction of learning and performing new pieces of music.
