Business situation around us is changing rapidly today.In the field of vehicle electronic systems of a major CIbusiness, the development for connecting to thevehicle control systems and smartphones is movinginto full swing. We have established the environmental mid- to long-term vision in March2013 to clarify the mid- to long-term role and goals of FUJITSU TEN Grouptoward the realization of a sustainable society.This vision sets three goals for 1. Contributions to customers and society,2. Pursue internal reforms, 3. Commit to biodiversity, centering on theFujitsu Group's environmental vision: "Green Policy 2020."While we will aim to peak out CO2 by 2022 and to reduce by half by 2050

A method to quantatively understand the environmental loads at each stage in a product's life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials to the manufacture, distribution,
use, and disposal of products.

In April 2013, we have established the 7th Environmental Action Plan whose duration is 3 year with fiscal 2015 as a finalyear. We, together with our employees, will make concerted efforts not only to develop super green products andenvironmental contribution products but promote reduction of environmental loads that arise from our business activities.

In contributing to the emergence of a recycle-based society,we are working to reduce waste and achieve zeroemissions* based on the theme of "3Rs" (reduce, reuse,
recyle).*At the FUjitsu Ten Group, "zero emissions" represents the elimination of non-
usable waste, such as refuse that is incinerated or disposed of as landfill
without a benenficial use, through the application of the "3Rs".
Wate emissions in Japanese sites has reduced by 24.5%below fiscal 2009 levels (1,285t), which has achieved thetarget of "Reduce by 12% below fiscal 2009 levels". In themeanwhile, waste emission per production oupt hasincreased due to the transfer of production to overseas site.
For overseas, on the other hand, waste emissions per
production ouptut has reduced by 4.2% (0.207t/billion yen)below fiscal 2009 levels, which has not achieved the targetof "reduce by 18.9% below fiscal 2009 levels".
CO2 emission as a result of energy consumption in Japan
was reduced by 20.6% below fiscal 2009 levels, which hasachieved the target of "reduce by 2.3 % below fiscal 2009levels". However, CO2 emission per production output has
increased due to the transfer of production to overseas sites.As for overseas, CO2 emission per production output in
overseas has decreased by 25.4% below fiscal 2009 levelswhich is 2.711 t- CO2/ billion yen, which has achieved the
target of "reduction by 16.5 % below fiscal 2009 levels".

In order to reduce CO2 emission that causes global

■ Hazardouw Material Reduction Measures
Initiatives for fiscal 2012
Regarding substances subject to the Pollutant Release and TransferRegister (PRTR), we are implementing reduction measures for lead,silver, toluene, and xylene (of which we use large amounts). We arealso reducing the use of isopropyl alcohol (IPA), a volatile organiccompound (VOC) that we use in relatively large amounts.The expansion of the lead-free applied models lead to reduction of useof hazardous substances in the entire group in comparison with lastfiscal year, but the unit of production was slightly increased due to theproduction volume reduction. IPA consumtion in Japan, on the otherhand, reduced drastically owing to switchover to alternative chemical.
