Letter to Our Readers The month of August is the peak season for vacations and beach going. We in New Jersey are blessed with almost 125 miles of coastal shoreline with many fine beaches and surf. Too often we take this beauty for granted. But it hasn’t always been that way. What we see and enjoy is the result of decades of past, as well as current and continuing planning by Federal, state and municipal agencies and several devoted advocacy groups. Take a few moments to learn about these efforts that allow us to keep enjoying this beautiful gift within or state. She’s a bartender, farm girl, horse trainer, animal rescuer and pie baker! Dawn Coppinger is all that … and more, all rolled up in a petite 4’11” frame. Our Mixologist-of-the-Month shares this passion for her animals and pets with her customers at Woody’s Roadside Tavern in Farmingdale. In the area? Stop in say “hi” and let Dawn pour you a cold one. Do you enjoy the acoustical sounds of good cover music? Then seek out Guns 4 Hire, a local trio that has played together for almost 25 years. The two founders of Guns 4 Hire met while playing in the house band at The Stone Pony. Today, the group can be heard and enjoyed at many of the local entertainment venue in Central Jersey and the Shore. Read more about them in this issue’s Band Profile. As a follow-up to last month’s comic feature, our contributing writer Steve O continues with his interview with Nick Ruggia, a talented comedian, actor, filmmaker, writer and producer. Take a moment to read our Comic Relief feature and learn more about Nick, his creativity and his many roles. This August issue of Venues NJ is packed full with timely information and listings to help you find both dining and entertainment establishments where you can relax and enjoy yourselves. Now go out there and have some fun!

There’s really nothing better after a hard day of work than laughing with friends over a few drinks and some beloved tunes. With the Guns 4 Hire Acoustic
Trio consisting of Gene Potts, Sal Marra and John Bauso, audiences are treated to a night of all-around entertainment by three friends who have been playing together for over two decades. Marra and Bauso play guitar and all three provide vocals, harmonizing together. Potts and Marra met 25 years ago playing for Colossal Street Jam, a band that used to be the Thursday night house band at The Stone Pony and is still around to this day. The two were introduced to Bauso through mutual friends and all three have been in and out of bands together for years, always coming back to play with each other. They officially formed the Guns 4 Hire Trio about two and a half years ago and this has been their main gig ever since. Though they focus on classic rock, this trio covers everything from the 1960s through today. Among their favorites to perform are songs from The Eagles, Grand Funk Railroad, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin. There are always good times to be had when this trio hits the stage. “Sal is a pretty crazy guy; he runs around a lot gets people involved,” describes Potts. “He is very loud and boisterous like Wolfman Jack when he talks. Always shouting out to people and
getting people involved. It gets crazy on a nightly basis. Especially if you add alcohol,” he adds with a laugh. Jokes and crowd involvement are standard when these old friends get together, making sure everyone has a good time. “We just try to bring the crowd into it,” Potts says. “We pick out someone who’s doing something silly and get them involved, get them up and sing with us. We are serious about the music, but we get people involved, the crowd involved, that’s what we do.” There are numerous chances to see Guns 4 Hire in action as they play two to four times every week. They play consistently between Woodbridge and Atlantic City, focusing mainly on Monmouth and Ocean Counties. There are some standard hotspots as they rock The Columns in Avon every Thursday and also regularly play the Walt Street Pub in Red Bank as well as the Windansea in Highlands. They can also be booked for private functions, available for anything from birthday parties and wedding cocktail hours to a fun summer get-together. They will even be performing at an event for the Special Olympics later this summer. All three members of the band work full-time jobs, so they know just how important it is to kick back and have a little fun after
a long day. Marra owns a landscaping company, Bauso is a full-time contractor and Potts does IT work for the Canadian-based computer software company, Open Text Corporation. With jobs like those, they know as well as anybody how beneficial laughs and music can be for the average 9 to 5-er. If you miss out on any Guns 4 Hire shows, don’t feel too bad about it. The guys also perform with other acts as well, though trio remains the lead project for all three. Marra is a member of Psycho Daisy, Bauso plays with the Mark Burg Band and Potts, up until recently, was a member of Daddy Pop. Potts asserts, “We are just three great friends who love making music together and love playing and harmonizing. We pride ourselves on our vocals. Sal is a phenomenal solo guitar player. I think we pride ourselves on trying to sound exactly like the music we play. We love to harmonize together and I think we have one of the few acts around here where all three guys could be lead singers.” To view the band’s calendar and find contact information to book them for your own event, visit guns4hiretrio.com and like their page at facebook.com/guns4hiretrio.

Dawn Coppingerby CLARE MARIE CELANO
Call her farm girl, horse trainer, animal rescuer, or baker of pies, cakes and breads -- Dawn Coppinger will answer to all of them. In addition to her work as bartender at Woody’s Roadside Tavern, Farmingdale, for the past two years, Dawn has a slew of other cool activities to keep her busy. She makes a home for her three dogs (two of them are rescue dogs), one potbelly pig, (honest), and her horse. In addition to bartending, she also enjoys spending time training horses. Coppinger grew up on a horse farm in Howell, learned to ride a horse when she was four years old and she hasn’t stopped since. Now Dawn owns her own little piece of heaven in Howell, where she has room enough to ride her
own horse, named T, whom she rescued. She also has room for her pony, Pluto, who she says keeps T company. Her love of horses organically grown into a horse training business, and it is work she truly enjoys. Coppinger says that sometimes, she works with “difficult horses that may buck, kick or bite” but the challenge of working with a difficult horse is one she enjoys, as she possesses the compassion to not only train them, but to soothe them as well -- no matter how long it takes. And sometimes, she notes, it can take years. “Some horses, especially abused horses, need to learn to trust. Patience and kindness will bring about a positive experience,” she explains. “It takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears. Dawn says she has a “passion” for equines. “Horses are my heart,” she emphasizes, adding “It’s like a motorcycle is to a biker.” That passion led her to working on a horse farm then on to rescuing horses, and then to training them. Her private horse training business was initially an outgrowth of answering a friend’s request to help with her horse. From caring for horses to training and exercising them, Coppinger packs her horse tack and
is on her way to help the horse and its owner. And, even with her busy schedule, she still makes time to compete in local rodeos and farm competition events. She began bartending as a second income while working at the horse farm and found she really liked
the work and stuck with it. “I like making people happy,” she says. “I like seeing them smile. It
may be a small thing but it’s a good thing.”

Beauty & the Beach There once was a time not too long ago when Jersey Shore beachgoers were reluctant to swim and cavort in the water rolling onto the beach -- Jersey’s Atlantic Ocean real estate was a muddy brown and unappealing. This reality was further magnified by the affects and aftermath of Superstorm Sandy Thanks to the multi-million dollar restoration efforts following Sandy, our beaches and coastal waters have been returned to their former glory. In fact, today, it is not uncommon to approach the surf and marvel at its beautiful almost sub-tropical aqua and beguiling deep blue colors. It draws in folks of all ages to enjoy a range of water activities, from body surfing, boogie-boarding and surfing, to playing catch, swimming and water aerobics. Yes, our beaches and surf have come a long way over the years. It didn’t just happen. That which we are able to enjoy today is a result of decades of planning and actions taken by Federal, state and local municipalities. Following is a brief history of the past and current efforts that have taken / are being taken to preserve our beaches and surf. The Federal Clean Water Act of 1972, which was just the very beginning of the cleaner shoreline renaissance. Then, according to John Weber, Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager for Surfrider Foundation, and a Bradley Beach resident, in 1990, Governor James Florio signed the Clean Water Enforcement Act, a state law that really set the shoreline on a path of rejuvenated health through cleaning up the coastal water quality. This huge step forward set limits and addressed discharges from sewage treatment plants that had typically
dumped treated water into the ocean. It also addressed dumping of garbage, medical waste and sewage sludge. Years later, we can see the difference in the ocean and this Act proves that the ocean is resilient if we stop mistreating it; it can and will rebound -- and this of course includes the marine life that call it home; many populations have begun to flourish once again. Surfrider Foundation doesn’t take regular water samples because the state of New Jersey has a program that takes water samples weekly in the summertime, an ongoing practice for about 30 years. However, Weber asserts, Surfrider Foundation is an active voice in trying to change that practice to be more regular during the post-summer season for those, particularly surfers, who do use the beach in the off seasons.
In fact, Weber points out, 30 years ago, New Jersey was one of the few states testing its ocean waters; many states never bothered to do that at all. The downside used to be that if the state had to shut down the beach due to a failed

test, the resulting publicity focused on the negativity and fear-mongering. Surfrider Foundations was instrumental in the passage of a federal law that now mandates all recreational bathing beaches need to be tested regularly. Surfrider hosts beach cleanups, and always welcomes volunteers to join in the day’s cleaning activities; it can be a great family outing that serves as an educational activity for kids. Visit jerseyshore.surfrider.org and/or southjersey.surfrider.org; the former concentrates on Monmouth and Ocean Counties, while the latter presides over Atlantic and Cape May Counties. Joe Mairo, former Vice Chair of the Jersey Shore Chapter, Surfrider Foundation, comments, “from talking to older Surfrider members and other Jersey Shore residents that were here in the 70s and 80s, I believe water quality has improved a lot since then. From my understanding, this is largely due to the closing of the 8 ocean dump sites that existed off our coast. Clean Ocean Action (COA), a grassroots environmental group, can be thanked for that.” COA, based in Highlands, was founded in 1984 and has grown into a leading national and regional voice that works diligently to protect waterways through pulling together resources and experts in science, law, research, education and with citizen action, such as its twice yearly
“Beach Sweeps,” the next of which is scheduled for October 25, 2014 Through the years, COA has garnered success in the following areas: improvement of programs and laws that protect public health at swimming beaches, reduction of plastics and litter that pollute waterways and beach sand, as well as harm wildlife; protection of coasts from oil and gas drilling in the ocean, reduction of toxins in waterways to ensure that fish and shellfish are much safer to eat.

In our State of New Jersey, we are blessed with approximately 125 miles of coastal shores spreading from the Bayshore area down to Cape May. If you visit any of our beaches along the shore today, you will find clean sands and magnificently clean
surf. It wasn’t always like that.

According to its website, cleanoceanaction.org, COA is a broad-based coalition of 125 active boating, business, community, conservation, diving, environmental, fishing, religious, service, student, surfing, and women’s groups, dubbed “Ocean Wavemakers,” who work to clean up and protect our waters. “With eight ocean dumpsites closed, powerful new clean water laws on the books, and a greater public awareness of the ocean and its improved health, it’s clear the system works.” Since 1985, over 101,000 volunteers have collected information on over 5.19 million pieces of trash from the Jersey shore beaches. In 2013, partly as a result of Superstorm Sandy, over 325,000 pieces of debris were collected. The most collected pieces of debris/trash were pieces of plastic. This was followed, in order, by caps/lids, cigarette filters, plastic wrappers/bags, straws, foam pieces, lumber pieces, beverage bottles, store/shopping bags, glass pieces, glass bottles, and cigar tips. Odder items found were: dentures, headphones, an auto transmission, toilet seat, couch, welcome mat, curtain, car fender, car front panel, portable toilet, 20-pound dumbbell, pasta strainer, printer, hospital bed, pool pump, and a small ceramic turkey. COA has collaborated with another beach/shore environmental advocacy group, Surfers Environmental Alliance (SEA), based in Long Branch. According to its website, seasurfer.org, they are committed to the preservation and protection of the environmental elements that are inherent to the sport of surfing. They engage in projects that strive to conserve the quality of our marine environment, preserve or enhance surf breaks, protect beach access rights, and safeguard the coastal surf zone from unnecessary development.” SEA holds fun events throughout the year. On August 11, 2014 it will host SEA
Paddle NYC, a 25-mile charity paddle that includes an elite race. It starts with registration at 7:30 a.m. at the Brooklyn Bridge Beach. Visit the website for more information about how to participate. With regard to the sand found on our beaches, John Weber of Surfrider notes that in 1994, Monmouth County’s beaches were
mostly natural sand and now many have been replenished Some, such as Bradley Beach, have been replenished with a coarser quality consisting of a lot of gravel and pebbles. The Army Corps of Engineers have been replenishing many beaches, “at great expense to taxpayers,” he says. “Although it is an anti-erosion measure, we feel that they are ignoring the real problem, which is that many structures are being built too close to the ocean. It is highly important that we stop unwise coastal development. If this feature has gotten your attention and you would like to learn more or even volunteer to help save and preserve our beaches and waters, please contact any of the organizations mentioned.

O N B R O A D W A Y New York City has never looked cleaner than it does in “If/Then,” the gleaming drawing board of a musical playing at the Richard Rodgers Theater, starring the shiny-voiced Idina Menzel. Actually, tofindanyurbanenvironmentthatis this spick and span, you’d need to look back to the 1970s, when Mary Tyler Moore conquered Minneapolis on television. The nearest contemporary equivalents are those commercials in which peppy young things go dancing in the streets to trumpet the virtues of cars and colas. But even they lack the antiseptic sheen of this production, written by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, with direction by Michael Greif, the team that gave us the four-handkerchief triumph “Next to Normal” several years ago. The show’s protagonist, Elizabeth (Ms. Menzel) isaconflictedcityplanner.Manhattanis her mirror, a place to regard herself, not only as she is but also as she could have, would have

and possibly should have been. It feels right that Mark Wendland’s set includes a mirrored ceiling to reflectand multiply the actions onstage. “If/Then,” you see, is a portrait of alternative existences, of roads taken or not, of the person a person might have been if she had only done this instead of that. If that sounds confusing, don’t worry. You may occasionally have trouble keeping the show’s twin story
lines separate. But you’ll never be in any doubt whatsoever as to what the central theme is. That’s because Mr. Kitt (music) and Mr. Yorkey (book and lyrics) never let us forget. Until the show’s last
quarter, when some shadows darken the bright emotional landscape, all the songs are pretty much interchangeable. Whether performed as solos or ensemble pieces, these numbers tend to percolate along, blithely and wonderingly, at
the speed of circular thought. They also put to work every metaphor you’ve heard about the elements of fate, chance and choice that govern our lives. Allow me to quote one. “You lose all the choices you don’t get to make/You wonder about all the turns you don’t take.” I chose that quote at random. Such words are largely settofolk-inflectedpopmelodiesthathavetheinsistent, mildly agreeable patter of a gentle spring rain. But I digress. Back to the plot(s): Elizabeth, a college professor of urban design, is newly divorced and newly arrived in Manhattan from Phoenix, with dreams of an exciting new career or an exciting new romance. “If/Then” wonders if it is possible to have both. So Elizabeth splits into two people, Liz (who wears eyeglasses) and Beth (who doesn’t), who pursue separate paths from the same starting point, Madison Square Park, on the same day. It’s there that Beth takes a call on her cell
phone from a now-powerful school chum that leads her to a meteoric rise in city politics. Liz ignores the call and has a chance encounter with Josh, a
handsome doctor in Army fatigues, who has just completed a tour of duty. Another point of the show is that every individual life is contingent upon the shifting existences of others. This means that Elizabeth’s choices affect the futures of her close friends Lucas, an idealistic community activist of ambivalent sexuality, and Kate, a contentedly lesbian kindergarten teacher. I suspect this show will have no trouble findinganaudience.Ms.Menzel,whobringsan anxious intensity to a featherweight part, has an enviable fan base among young female audiences. She won fame (and a Tony) by originating the part of Elphaba in the long-running musical “Wicked.” (Her celebrity quotient has been raised by the use of her voice in the hit animated film“Frozen” and her performance this year at the Academy Awards, when John Travolta’s mispronunciation of her name went viral.)

Nick Ruggia
Editor’s Note: This is the second and final
installment of Steve O’s
interview with comic Nick
Ruggia. The first part
appeared in the July issue.
Nick Ruggia is a talented actor, comedian, filmmaker, writer, producer who is also half the creative force of the Temple Horses, an online video blog with over 90,000 views. Ruggia can be found on his Facebook homepage and also at templehorses.com.
Venues-NJ: I always check out the IMDB.com page and see you have a few credits and you have the trifecta-actor, producer and writer. Can you give me a little back story on that?
Nick Ruggia: I guess the highlights, industry-wise, of my career have been about nine episodes of four reality TV acting gigs. I wanted to get a feel for what it was like being on sets, and you never turn down a job when you are begging for attention from the world. The coolest thing that has happened to me so far was that I won a competition to contribute jokes to a few episodes of Hip-Hop Squares on MTV2. Ghostface Killa ended up telling a couple of my jokes on TV and I think one other person did, too. Ghostface liked the jokes we gave him, and he asked a producer who wrote one of them. They pointed him my way and I talked to Ghostface for 15 minutes, which was awesome because I’m a huge Wu-Tang fan. By far the best thing I ever did was starting my web sketch group, Temple Horses. Ryan Hoffman and I have been producing together for a little over
three years now, and I’ve learned almost every side of production there. One sketch got picked for the front page of funnyordie.com. A writer at The Huffington Post took interest in us and covered our work twice. And then we raised money for a sketch pilot on kickstarter. com. We shot it, and one of the sketches “You’re Not That Crazy” with Greer Barnes and some other awesome actors ended up being in five film festivals.
We won the Audience Award for Best Short at the Friars Club Comedy Film Festival in spring 2013 and we started having a lot more meetings all of a sudden. We’ve been able to add a lot of indispensable pieces to our crew, including the third Temple Horse editor/director Steve Thompson, who are mostly working for free because they want to be a part of whatever the hell it is that we’re doing. This year, the Friars Club asked us back and we entered a short that I co-wrote, had a cameo in and directed called “Dear Dead Abby” that was featured in front of Howie Mandel’s film on their centerpiece night. Julia Taylor Ross from Saving Hope and Silent House was our female lead. We went out and
celebrated that, and then I went back home to go sleep in my room at my mom’s house in a really fancy suit.
V-NJ: Wow, that sounds like a lot to be proud of. How do you feel about your accomplishments so far?
NR: Life is weird. I guess this all underscores a basic point about my philosophy. I will not wait for anyone to tell me I’m ready. I’m going to make my own content and get it out there until someone wants to pay me to do it. A lot of people come up with reasons that they can’t make things on their own. I don’t accept any of those from myself. We have a huge catalog of sketches, four unproduced pilots and both Ryan and I have written a feature of our own. Eventually we’ll sell some or all of these things, or we’ll die in a gutter, but it doesn’t really matter because we have to do the work.
V-NJ: I was reading where you and your partner in crime, Ryan Hoffman, were the first two performers to “work the crowd” at the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations. Who’s idea was that and what was it like? Was that at Zuccotti Park?
NR: Ryan was very involved in Occupy. He co-wrote The Declaration of the Occupation of New York City. I went down there and marched more than a handful of times and hung out a few others.
I think it was the fourth day of the protests. There were about 200 people in Zuccotti at that point. Ryan wanted to bring in some comedians to do a show there to give people a break from the marching and beating and arresting. He hosted the show and I went up first on the lineup. Victor Pleacoff followed me, and then Tim Warner closed with one of the most iconic sets I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing in my tenure doing comedy. That show was an experience. We weren’t allowed to have noise amplification devices, as per NYC rules, so we were literally standing on a ledge over a hundred or so people screaming our jokes at the top of our lungs as New York City went on in the background. They were really cool about us being there. And when the show was over, we all marched and more people were beaten.

Comic Relief
Sadly, Selena Coppack’s aBostonian and doesn’t understand that the only real teams to root for are in NY and NJ. I jest of course (kinda, sorta). Coppack has been performing stand up for eight years and her new book, The New Rules For Blondes, launches in April.
Were you “the funny one” growing up?
I come from a very funny home and my older sister Laurel is a comedian, too. So I wasn’t really ‘the funny one’ at home so much as Laurel and I spent a lot of time writing musicals in our bedrooms, choreographing strange dance numbers, and watching “Saturday Night Live” since age 7. I think that my parents and oldest sister Emily are super hilarious, too. But yes, I’ve always been a bit of a ham and really interested in comedy and performing.
Along those lines, did you do all the school productions? Where’d you grow up? Or rather, if you’re anything like me, where were you raised?
I grew up outside of Boston and I did all of the school plays growing up -- I absolutely loved performing and the excitement of rehearsing and being in shows. I did some professional theater in Boston (at the Boston Baked Theater--now gone) and in high school I became interested in singing, too. I went to college in upstate NY where I majored in English and didn’t do any of the plays on campus; but I was in the only co-ed a cappella group on campus (the Hamilton College Hamiltones) and the improv troupe. After school I moved to Chicago
to study improv comedy further and it was improv that really led me to standup. I did improv for years and eventually I just got sick of working with other people, which makes me sound like a total curmudgeon, I know.
Stand up is very tough. You have to be able to take rejection. How’d you handle your first bomb, unless you’re the one comic who’s never experienced that?
The rejection is definitely hard and it’s something that everyone -- even my comedy idols -- have experienced at some point. Early on I think that I wanted the audience to like me, which can be dangerous territory, especially for female comedians. You have to be confident and feel entitled to be up there with the microphone and that took me a while to figure out -- how to just own the stage and trust myself more. I think of standup as like training a dog -- if you get out there and you’re confident and in control, the audience is with you. But if you exude a sense of nervousness or you seem insecure, they’ll eat you alive. I’ve been doing standup for about eight years and even now sometimes I’ll have a show where I can sense that certain people in the audience aren’t completely on board with me and it makes me feel nervous, but I know to just plow through it and keep on going and eventually I’ll hit on a joke or reference that wins them over.
Is this a means to an end? “SNL”, sitcoms, head writer--what’s your goal?
I definitely don’t think of standup as a means to an end and I think that comedians who do are pretty miserable people. It has to be its own reward or else you’re crazy to do this thing. But as far as my goal, mine is pretty broad: I’d like for my comedy (performance, writing) to pay for my life. I don’t know exactly how that will shake out, but I’d like my job to be what I love to do, which is write and perform comedy. I have a book coming out in April (The New Rules for Blondes, from It Books/HarperCollins), which I hope will open up new opportunities for me. It’s a collection of humorous essays celebrating and subverting the blonde stereotype, but it’s for readers of all hair colors.

their own relief centers, benefit organizations & fundraising programs. However, there is a
Central Call Center set up to get information & assistance for emergency services, housing assistance, food &
medical services, family services, etc.

Jersey CleanTo rid of dirt, impurities, pollution
or extraneous matter.
Our state and its residents are a proud group. When we are faced with a significant problem, we come together to resolve it and improve the situation. When we were hit with a superstorm 15 months ago, we put aside our differences and worked hand-in-hand to become “Jersey Strong” (thank you, After The Reign). When we realized that quality of our farm produce and seafood was not up to the standards we required, we pulled together with industry and advocacy groups, worked to achieve a goal, and we became “Jersey Fresh.”
As residents of this state, we’ve learned a great deal about working together to achieve what we want and to put things “as they should be.” As members of the hospitality industry, it is important to collaborate (owners and staff) to make sure things within our establishments are “as they should be.” This includes making sure we are serving quality food and drink to our customers. It also means keeping our venues clean. Nothing turns a customer off more than an untidy eating area or (God forbid) a dirty restroom. Regarding the latter, an hourly inspection schedule is highly recommended.
If you took the time to read this issue’s main editorial feature (Beauty & the Beach), you understand how working together at all levels, with dedication and conviction, goals can be achieved and sustained. By all of us (residents, industry and governments) joining together, we can insure that our great State of New Jersey will continue to be “Jersey Strong”, “Jersey Fresh” and “Jersey Clean”.
2014 Bike MS: Hops to Hops
What: Bike MS Hops to Hops FundraiserWhere: Lambertville, NJ (Location TBA)When: September 14, 2014Contact: Mary Beth Rehrer Event Manager (732) 660-1005 x 44321 or [email protected]
Bike MS will take you further than you’ve ever gone before. It’s not the miles that matter -- it’s the unforgettable journey. Join us for an event that’s more than a ride -- it’s anticipation, camaraderie, personal accomplishment, and the knowledge that you’re changing lives...making every mile that much sweeter. Choose one of the two different route lengths and enjoy pedaling across the rolling hills of the Amwell Valley. As a great personal challenge and achievement that any rider can experience, Bike MS is an opportunity to make a difference in your own life, and in the world.
About MS: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. The cause of MS is still unknown – scientists believe the disease is triggered by as-yet-unidentified environmental factor(s) in a person who is genetically predisposed to respond. We mobilize people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS.
The National MS Society educates, inspires and empowers those affected by multiple sclerosis. We break down barriers — both physical and emotional — in the home, in the workplace and in the community. We build confidence that people with MS can live the best possible lives as individuals, as family members, as employees and as members of the larger community. No other local MS organization provides the breadth and depth of services or involves more people in the movement toward a world free of MS.
