• Areas for improvement in CSO registration identified based on analysis of current practices;

• Draft Law on Public Organizations recommended for parliamentary consideration in April – May 2011

• $ 825,000 invested in local CSOs• 22 CSO projects successfully completed in 2010

(total grant budget $ 278,909)• 3500 direct beneficiaries (services, protected rights, knowledge and skills)• 50 decisions by local governments with citizen participation

• 45 CSO projects started in 2010:

- 14 in human rights area ($ 197,119)

- 15 in citizen participation area ($ 174,600)

- 16 to support vulnerable groups ($ 174,786)
