BootimagefilecanbeextractedfromtheoriginalbootableCD/DVD,orfromanfloppy.

ForusingDOS-basedtoolssuchasPQMagicandGhostfromCD,youcanmake a floppy first, check it by booting your PC, then use 'Make FloppyImage'tocreateaboot.imafile.

FormakingWindowsNT/2000/XPbootableCD,youcanextract bootimagefilefromtheoriginalCDtoboot.bif.

Formakingmulti-boot,menudrivenCDsandDVDs,pleaseseehere.

Setbootimage

Youcan set theboot image file by choosing 'Bootable'->'Loadboot file' frommainmenu, or by the

followingways.

Ifthebootimagefileislocatedwithinthe"ImageDir:"list,selectitandclickabovethe"ISOFile"listtosetitasthebootimage.

Select one or multiple file or folder from "ISO file list", then choose'Hide/Unhide' from popup menu, or click to change the selected fileattributetoHIDDEN;click oncemoretoreturnnormalstate.

Note: files with hidden attribute will display a "!" symbol before"Date/Time".





SetOptions Choose 'Options'->'Configuration' from main menu, or click the

"Configuration"dialogwillpop-up:

1)If'UsefixedISOfolder'ischecked,UltraISOalwaysusethisdirectoryof'MyISOFilesLocation"as

2)If"KeepHiddenAttributes"ischecked,UltraISOwillkeephiddenattributesofallfilesandfolders

whenaddingtoorextractingfromtheISOimage.

3)If "Add Joliet volume as needed" is checked,UltraISOwill add secondary Jolietvolume if any

filenameexceedISO9660limit.

4)If"ShowSessionSelectorDialog"ischecked,thefollowingdialogwillappearwhenopeningamulti-

sessionCD/DVDimage:

Ifnotchecked,UltraISOwilluselastsessionbydefault.

5)If"SupportDaylightSavingTime"ischecked,UltraISOwilladjustdate/timeoffilesinISOimageasneeded.

6)If"UseRecycleBin"ischecked,UltraISOwillalwaysputdeletedlocalfilestoWindowsRecycle

Click "OK"button to save the configuration, click "Cancel" towithdrawwhatyouchanged.

On"Save"page,youcansetthefollowingoptions:

1)If"RecompileISOwhensavingdirectly"ischecked,UltraISOwillalwaysrecompileamodifiedISOimagewhenyouclick'Save'button.Otherwise,UltraISOsaveschangedpartofvolumedataonly.

2)If"EnableSuperRestore"ischecked,UltraISOwillbackupallnecessaryinformationwhensavingan

ISO image while'Recompile ISO when saving directly' option is turned off. You can use

'Alt+BackSpace"torestoretoprevious,unmodifiedimagethereafter.

3)If"CreateFileChecksumsonSave"ischecked,UltraISOwillcreateMD5checksumsbeforesavingan

ISOimage.YoucanuseittoverifyISOimageorburnedCD/DVDlater.

4)If"GenerateChecksumsofISOImage"ischecked,UltraISOwillgenerateMD5,CRC-32,CRC-16

checksumsoftheISOimagesaved.Theseinformationwillbesavedasatextfile.

5)If "Adjust media type of ISO" is checked, UltraISO will change media type field of ISO image

accordingtothesizeofit.

On"Audio"page,youcansetMP3andWMAencoderparameters,aswellasCD-Textoption.
