basiliskTake an egg of a snake, and hatch it under a rooster. According to myth, the creature that comes out is one of the most dangerous monsters ever. Its body is so full of poison that it even breathes poison. Wherever it goes, everything close to it dies. Even one look from this creature can kill. This monster is called the Basilisk, and it is the king of all snakes.A small snake, the Basilisk has a body of a snake, wings, and a head of a rooster. It may be powerful, but it has some very big weaknesses. It will die if it hears the crowing of a rooster, and is hurt by the smell of a weasel. But even still, the basilisk is still one deadly myth. tarzanThe lion may be the king of the jungle, but not in this one. Here, the king is faster than tigers, kinder than butterflies, and his roar is louder than the biggest bear. Here, Tarzan rules the jungle. But the man who drew him is another king with a pencil in his hand, and his name is Edgar Rice Burroughs.
Burroughs never planned to become an artist; he used to sell sharpeners when he started drawing. But that didn’t stop him from making one of the most famous cartoons ever. He even drew John Carter: the heroic Mars adventurer. Rad ShaRaR
